Dublin Civic Trust Youtube Channel Launched
January 19, 2011The Trust has launched a new online video channel this January!
The aim of the channel is to bring the city's architectural heritage to life with short video and audio pieces on the buildings, streets and spaces that comprise the historic fabric of Dublin. We very much welcome your contributions and feedback on the topics, and on any issues you feel should be explored.
The channel kicks off with two radio pieces produced for RTÉ Radio 1 with Dublin Civic Trust. The first focuses on the qualities of Dublin's historic windows in a quirky 12 minute documentary tour of the city centre's old fenestration and glass. The second programme marked the launch of the first ever Dublin Garden Squares Day organised by the Trust in 2010, with a five minute exploration of the history and evolution of Dublin's historic garden squares. We have added some imagery to this piece to complement the topic in hand!
