
Dublin Garden Squares Day - Saturday 3rd July
Dublin Civic Trust is delighted to announce the first ever Dublin Garden Squares Day, a celebration of the glory of Dublin’s Georgian garden squares.
Enjoy walking tours, live performance, stalls and children’s events in a fun family day out for all. Walk or cycle between the squares and discover the history of these magnificent urban gardens, their plants and wildlife, the people who once used them and the historic buildings that embrace them.
Update: St. Stephen's Green tour leaves from Fusiliers' Arch entrance to the Green at the top of Grafton Street at 2pm
Dublin Garden Squares Day takes place on Saturday 3rd of July 2010 at all five of Dublin city centre's major squares

A host of events will include guided tours of the history, architecture and planting of the squares and their gardens, live music, dancing and entertainment, plant and food stalls, Punch and Judy, a giant hot air balloon in Merrion Square and much, much more.
